Accept Crypto Payments with WHMCS Payment Gateway
A Cryptonly account and an API key are enough. Install the gateway, save the credentials, and WHMCS invoices can be paid in crypto. The steps below are the whole setup.

How to start accepting crypto payments on WHMCS
Sign up for a Cryptonly account
Create a merchant account in the Cryptonly dashboard. That account issues the API key, account id, and webhook signing key used in the steps below.
Generate an API key
Create a key under Settings → Security → API keys with accounts.list, invoices.create, and invoices.list. Copy the account id from Accounts, and the webhook signing key from Settings → Security. Saving the gateway without that signing key is blocked.
Install the WHMCS module
Download the gateway from the WHMCS Marketplace and upload the modules folder into the WHMCS root so it merges with the existing modules directory. Activate Cryptonly under Setup → Payments → Payment Gateways. The upload paths and gateway fields are in the WHMCS integration guide.
Save the gateway settings
Open Setup → Payments → Payment Gateways → Cryptonly → Manage Existing Gateway. Enter the display name, API key, account id, and webhook signing key, then save. The module checks the key and account id with GET /accounts before it stores them.
Accept invoice payments
Set System URL under Setup → General Settings to a public HTTPS address so Cryptonly can reach the callback. On an invoice, the client pays on the hosted page. A signed invoice.statusChanged webhook marks the invoice Paid, or records a partial payment and leaves the balance open.

What is WHMCS
WHMCS is billing software for hosting companies, domain sellers, and agencies. It issues invoices, runs recurring billing, and records each payment against a client account.
A payment method is a gateway module. You upload it into modules/gateways, activate it under Payment Gateways, and clients see it when they pay an invoice.
Cryptonly uses that gateway hook. Invoice totals stay in your billing currency. The client pays on a Cryptonly page, and a signed webhook applies the payment in WHMCS when the funds settle.

Which WHMCS versions does the module support?
WHMCS 8.0 or newer, on PHP 7.4 or newer. The module is tested through WHMCS 9.0.5 and PHP 8.2.
Do I need to build a crypto checkout page?
No. The client pays on a Cryptonly hosted page and returns to the invoice. You do not build a wallet screen or watch the chain yourself.
What does it cost?
0.5% per payment, with no setup fee.
Can I test the module before taking real payments?
Yes. Sandbox mode runs the hosted page and the webhook without moving funds. Turn sandbox off and switch to production credentials when you are ready to accept live payments.
Do invoice amounts have to be in crypto?
No. Keep invoices in your billing currency. Cryptonly converts the amount when the client checks out.
How does WHMCS know an invoice is paid?
Cryptonly sends a signed invoice.statusChanged webhook to modules/gateways/callback/cryptonly.php. Paid and overpaid clear the balance. A partial payment is applied and the invoice stays open.
